Living Roots

Meg Witri and Séamus Maynard comprise the band - Living Roots. Based in upstate NY, the two have been playing and writing music together for 8 years. They travel to places near and far sharing music, leading community singing workshops and continuing to perform their original songs in living rooms, dive bars, on stages, at inner development and meditation workshops, and festivals. Their forthcoming record, to be released later in 2019, features a slight departure from their debut record To All Things. Their music, while still rooted in the folk idiom, draws on jazz, classical and sacred/spiritual music influences.
